From the 2013 LA Art Show. The artist calls himself Desire Obtain Cherish (DOC).
This particular collection is called Designer Drugs.
The idea is genius. Designer drugs are recreational drugs created, usually by modifying the chemical structure of existing drugs, to avoid drug laws.
The artist had a very clever play on words. "Designer" here is fashion design brands and by comparing brands to drugs we get the message instantly.

This is really cool. For some people, designer brands are addictive to them, but i think what they are really afddicted to is the luxury sign that's labeled on designer stuff. But i think that if you really love the design but not the brand itself, then the label doesn't mean nothing then.
